What Type of Coffee Shop Should I Open?

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

When I wrote my business plan coffee shop, I designed for a cafe sitting, with or without a drive through (the mix as I call it). However, it can be adapted to each of these forms, including a coffee kiosk and coffee cart. Here are some points to consider when planning for each opening a coffee: Make-up (and mix) – most advantageous if you plan on culture and events. This would be considered more often not be the full-service cafeteria. Outside the House of Culture coffee purist, no coffee served in a few more forms, sitting depreciation food you serve full menus, also known as coffee shops. The mixture is well enough to add a drive through window if space permits. A drive through windows can save up to 20% of revenue over your sales because of its convenience. Go first (self) – generally a lower cost, you can also browse the off-site built by a company specializing in those for about $ 20,000 or less. Many times you can use a land lease from the owner of the parking lot, not all need to get the locations. Make sure you feel comfortable with the planning department, you can consult to do this. It will most likely need a certain movie square space of many employees and parking for customers “stacking”. This is another way of saying how many cars can drive through line at your windows on your property and still allow flow in and out easily, and have enough space for other tenants of the place. Note that your city and / or health department does not allow portable water and sewage on site, you are prompted, sanitation and wastewater to be installed. These can be expensive, but if the location is prime, it outweigh your investment. There is also a separate building that can be converted into one trip. Gas stations and some former fast-food places (no room to eat inside) are good for that. At the gas station, you should visit your city planning and zoning department to be sure that you can convert it into a coffee drive through. You may have a problem with the car stacking again. Kiosk – They are ideal for shopping malls, hospitals, car dealerships or anywhere that you do not need one or window. This is a step above the basket (see below) because the kiosk is about coffee that can be taken and moved fairly easily. You are basically a prefabricated, fancy group of counters all connected together. There is a sense of self coffee. A lot of jewelry and places like this in malls. Cart – about says it all. A car is $ 8,000 to approximately 12,000 to integrate the costs. They are found primarily in shopping malls, car dealerships, hospitals, etc. They have much less space than a kiosk but are a good option if you want to be in a mall or otherwise. Normally, you would be limited to food and bakery products, the packaged. Whatever type of coffee-shop open, you decide that you are sure they have studied and are ready, very immersed in it! There are a lot of your time! Good luck!
